The Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO) is a global coalition supporting digital humanities research, collaboration, and education. It connects member organizations and scholars working across disciplines and regions, helping foster an international community for the field. ADHO supports member-led Special Interest Groups that encourage focused research and collaboration on topics including digital literary studies, digital humanities pedagogy, libraries, linked open data, multilingual scholarship, and geo-humanities.
The alliance also supports leading digital humanities journals and open scholarly communication. Its annual Digital Humanities Conference provides a forum for the community to share work and exchange ideas; upcoming conferences are scheduled in Ireland in 2027, South Africa in 2028, and Italy in 2029.
