DWS Greece is a pioneering initiative aimed at democratic governance of new technologies. As a dialogue platform, it brings together stakeholders from different fields and shapes "bottom-up" policies concerning Artificial Intelligence, platforms, Internet of Things, and more. By doing so, DWS Greece opens up a dialogue for effective and participatory governance of the Internet and new technologies, with the goal of creating policy proposals on technology-related issues that directly affect and engage us on a daily basis.

DWS Greece is the Greek initiative within the framework of the United Nations' Internet Governance Forum (IGF Network). The policy proposals that emerge from the annual conference contribute to and interact with the international dialogue in Geneva, New York, and other European and international organizations. The Executive Committee is responsible for coordinating all key processes and groups operating within the IGF Greece, as well as preparing the conference. The Multistakeholder Committee consists of experts representing groups directly or indirectly affected by digital policies and ensures the participation of all social groups in shaping the IGF Greece.
