Dignity is a foundation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged communities in India, with a focus on women, children, and families. Founded in response to the devastating tsunami in 2004/2005, Dignity aims to rebuild and restore hope among the most vulnerable. With a deep respect for human dignity and a commitment to environmental sustainability, the organization works closely with local partners to identify and implement projects that empower beneficiaries and protect natural resources. Each year, dedicated volunteers personally travel to India at their own expense to oversee the progress of the projects on the ground.

Dignity's projects prioritize autonomy and self-sufficiency, aiming to uplift the recipients and enable them to thrive independently. The organization maintains a close relationship with the local community, ensuring that the projects are transparent, well-defined, and catered to specific groups with calculated risks.
