About Dignity and Services
Dignity and Services (D&S) is a non-profit organization established in 1991, dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities (AwLD). D&S caters to individuals with various neurological disorders, including Down Syndrome, autism, Asperger's, dyslexia, ADHD, and other developmental delays. The organization offers comprehensive and holistic services to the AwLD community, including the OPTIONS supported living program, Self Advocacy, and the Bake With Dignity employment initiative.
D&S aims to empower individuals by nurturing their living skills, upholding their rights, providing job opportunities, and raising public awareness about issues affecting AwLD. The organization's vision is to give persons with learning disabilities a voice that deserves to be heard, while their mission is focused on creating a society that promotes dignity, respect, equal rights, and independent living for individuals with learning disabilities.
