Led by optometrist and low-vision specialist Jos van Dijk, the service draws on more than 25 years of experience and offers flexible, personal support in the client’s own environment. Assessments and advice are available at hospitals, eye clinics, ophthalmology practices, rehabilitation centres and other fixed locations in South Holland, the Randstad and neighbouring regions, as well as through home visits. Home appointments can be especially practical for people with very limited vision or reduced mobility.

Following an assessment, Dijkzicht helps clients explore tailored visual aids and solutions, with the opportunity to try options and identify what works for their needs. The aim is to make daily tasks more manageable and support greater confidence, independence and quality of life.
