In the midst of the events and the change that our country Iraq witnessed after (2003) and in order to form an advanced civil system that serves all segments of society and our belief in the important and influential role of organizations at all levels, the idea of establishing an organization to contribute to the development of economic capabilities and the development of the individual was crystallized among the founding members, and for this purpose, the establishment of The Assembly in Nineveh Governorate, northern Iraq, with its founding conference dated (2/1/2012) in the presence of the founding members. In the NGO Department and obtained the registration certificate No. (1A75728) on (30/10/2012). During the years that followed its establishment, the association had an active role in various sectors, such as the agricultural sector, both plant and animal, and the humanitarian work sector, such as relief, fundraising, creating livelihoods and employment for young people of both sexes, giving the real role of women and activating their role in society through employment in various places, including administrative jobs. In addition to adopting awareness projects, holding training courses, and supporting governmental and non-governmental institutions. Where the association works in several governorates in Iraq, including Nineveh Governorate, Dohuk Governorate, Anbar Governorate, and the districts and sub-districts affiliated to them. The association has worked and is still working on implementing multiple projects targeting various categories of beneficiaries, including IDPs, Host community and the returnees. In order to defend the right of citizens to live in a pollution-free environment by eliminating desertification and investing and cultivating lands, and by relying on youth energies, the association works hard for the purpose of achieving its goals, employing cadres, addressing unemployment and raising the level of scientific development in the country.

DAA's dedication extends to the environment, where they conduct sterilization campaigns against COVID-19 for official departments in Ninewa Governorate.
