About DIMAP
DIMAP Bt. is a Hungarian mapmaking and map retail business based in Budapest. It creates, publishes and sells maps, with a particular focus on Hungary, Budapest, Transylvania and Romania, as well as selected areas of the Carpathian region.
Customers can browse its online map shop for folded printed maps and downloadable digital editions, including maps designed for use on mobile devices. The catalogue features regional and hiking maps, mountain areas, and road maps; some products include multilingual place names, town-centre maps or explanatory text. Recent titles include maps of the Bihar Mountains and Padiș, the Barót Mountains, the Hargita region and Transylvania.
Many products specify their scale and are available to purchase directly or, for certain downloads, through the Avenza Map Store. DIMAP also offers custom map creation by commission and provides information about Székelyföld and its regions. Through its combination of specialist cartographic publishing, tailored map services and e-commerce, the company serves people seeking practical maps for travel, exploration and regional reference
