Din BPA Handicaphjælper ApS

Din BPA Handicaphjælper is an approved provider of BPA (citizen-controlled personal assistance) services throughout Denmark. The organisation supports people who receive assistance under sections 95 and 96 of Denmark’s Social Services Act, combining administrative help with a personal, ongoing relationship. Its consultants have worked with BPA arrangements since 2009, and the provider is approved by Socialtilsyn Nord.

For citizens, the service includes help recruiting assistants who suit their needs and daily routines. The citizen remains the workplace manager and decides, in consultation with the provider, who is hired or dismissed. Each person has a regular contact who knows their arrangement and can be reached around the clock for urgent problems. Din BPA Handicaphjælper also acts as employer for assistants, managing pay, contracts, insurance, accounting and related paperwork. Pay follows FOA rates and the municipality’s assessed funding.

The organisation offers BPA guidance, including advice on relevant legislation, and serves citizens across Zealand, Copenhagen, Funen and Jutland.
