Dingo Advisory Council

The Dingo Advisory Council is an Australian panel of experts representing stakeholders involved in dingo management. It works to support sustainable farming, healthy local environments and community safety through collaborative, evidence-based approaches to dingo-related issues. The Council provides landholders and communities with reliable, practical information about dingoes and predator management, aiming to help reduce conflict between dingoes and livestock while improving understanding of dingo behaviour and their environmental role.

Its work includes sharing resources and practical mitigation strategies designed to address livestock losses and other challenges on the ground. The Council also offers an educational resource package covering predator management, dingo ecology and behaviour, cultural perspectives, and safety guidance. Through these services, it seeks to connect research, stakeholder knowledge and practical experience to support informed decisions across Australia. The Dingo Advisory Council also invites people to join its community by subscribing to email updates and news. Its work is intended to assist communities and landholders while fostering a considered understanding of dingoes and their management.
