Din Hovslager

Karianne Hilland is a qualified, mobile farrier serving horses and their owners across Oslo, Bærum, Asker, Drammen and Skoger, with visits to nearby areas including Nesodden, Nordre Follo, Ås and Ski when needed. She earned her farrier certification in 2014 and teaches practical hoof care to veterinary and animal-care students at NMBU Ås. Her work focuses on horse welfare, calm handling and careful, individual assessment.

Services include barefoot trimming, cold shoeing, hot shoeing and therapeutic shoeing, with specialist therapeutic shoes sourced as needed and fitted in close consultation with a veterinarian. Hilland primarily works with riding horses of all breeds, adapting the method and care interval to each horse. She recommends follow-up intervals based on individual needs, commonly around five to six weeks.

As an ambulant farrier, she follows planned driving routes to visit stables, helping owners coordinate appointments and share travel costs. Prices are stated inclusive of VAT, with payment available by Vipps or card terminal on the day.
