DireWolf Dogs of Vallecito is a dedicated breeding facility committed to offering healthy, long-lived giant DireWolf Dogs with a lifetime genetic health guarantee. Founded in 2006, continuing the visionary mission initiated by Lois Schwarz in 1988, the team at DireWolf Dogs of Vallecito strives to uphold the legacy of breeding large companion dogs. Jennifer and her husband Jay, who trained under Lois for sixteen years, now lead the breeding facility and ensure the continuation of the Dire Wolf Project's noble goals.
By focusing on domesticated breeds, they aim to recreate the bone and body structure of the extinct dire wolf while maintaining a gentle and intelligent companion suitable for modern families.
