About Dirty Girl Produce
Dirty Girl Produce is a Certified Organic family farm located in Santa Cruz County, CA. Spanning 40 acres, we are dedicated to providing customers with high-quality fruits and vegetables. With over 20 varieties of produce, we offer a diverse range of delicious and nutritious options.
You can find our farm-fresh products at farmer's markets in Santa Cruz, Berkeley, and San Francisco. Our story began in 1997 when Joe Schirmer, a Santa Cruz native, started working at Dirty Girl Produce. In 1999, he took over ownership of the farm.
Passionate about sustainable agriculture, Joe is a graduate of UCSC and the UCSC Farm and Garden Apprenticeship Program. He has extensive experience working on farms across the West Coast. We pride ourselves on our commitment to organic farming practices and are proud to be a part of CUESA and the Santa Cruz Community Farmers Markets.
