About Disability Horizons
Disability Horizons is a highly regarded online disability lifestyle publication that aims to give disabled individuals a voice. Founded in 2011, this passionate brand publishes a wide range of articles sourced directly from their community of readers, making it a true lifestyle publication by and for disabled people. The articles cover diverse topics such as technology, relationships, sports, employment, and travel, with the goal of supporting disabled individuals in living life on their own terms.
To foster a sense of connection and support within the community, Disability Horizons has also created the DHorizons Tribe Facebook group. The majority of the team consists of dedicated volunteers who have a personal connection to disability, ensuring that the brand remains authentic and inclusive. Although Disability Horizons is closing after 12 remarkable years, Duncan Edwards will continue managing the Disability Horizons Shop, offering helpful products designed to assist disabled individuals in their daily lives.
This closure marks the end of an era, but the legacy of Disability Horizons will undoubtedly endure
