About Disability Rights Pennsylvania
Disability Rights Pennsylvania (DRP) is an independent, statewide, non-profit corporation dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of people with disabilities in Pennsylvania. As the federally-mandated protection and advocacy agency, DRP provides advocacy services to hundreds of clients annually, at no cost to them. Their team of attorneys offers direct legal assistance to individual clients and pursues system reform and class action litigation to protect and expand disability rights and services.
DRP also offers resources and support related to COVID-19 for individuals with disabilities. With a toll-free intake system, they provide legal advice, advocacy, and information and referral services to over 2,500 callers each year. Additionally, DRP conducts outreach events, trainings, and presentations on various topics relating to disability rights, benefiting individuals with disabilities, family members, advocates, and professionals.
