Disability Together

Disability Together, formerly known as Living Options, is a charity supporting Disabled and d/Deaf people in Devon to have a voice and live life their way. It also serves people with long-term health conditions, sensory and physical impairments, learning difficulties, mental wellbeing needs, and neurodivergent people. Through advice, wellbeing services and practical support, the charity helps individuals and families access the assistance they need.

Its services include advocacy, counselling, someone to talk to, support with public transport, Deaf and sight services, opportunities to explore the countryside, join clubs and meet people, and help with health and wellbeing or after crime. The organisation also offers all-terrain mobility scooters to support access to the countryside.

For businesses, workplaces and public services, Disability Together provides accessibility audits, disability and Deaf awareness training, walk-and-talk audits, partnerships, and DVSA-accredited training for bus drivers. It is the only provider recommended and approved by NHS Devon ICB to deliver Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Learning Disability and Autism in Devon.
