Disabled Children's Partnership

The Disabled Children's Partnership is a prominent coalition comprising over 80 organizations that advocates for enhanced health and social care for disabled children. Supported by a vast network of parent carers and allies, the partnership campaigns for equal opportunities and improved services for disabled children and their families. They firmly believe that these individuals deserve access to necessary support that enables them to live a high-quality life, just like any other family.

Unfortunately, the current situation in England falls short of achieving this goal. Disabled children face significant challenges due to insufficient services, a lack of service quality, limited accessibility, and inadequate communication between service providers. As a result, disabled children and their families often experience a stark contrast in their quality of life and opportunities compared to those without disabilities.

The Disabled Children's Partnership aims to address these injustices by providing a platform for disabled children and their families to voice their concerns, challenging existing barriers and inequalities, improving the quality of available services, facilitating access to essential support, and promoting better communication and collaboration amongst professionals. To achieve this, the partnership requires public support, empathy, and understanding in order to bring about lasting change and improve the treatment of disabled children in society.
