Disclose is a nonprofit investigative newsroom and NGO focused on reporting matters of public interest. Its investigations examine issues including human rights, state secrecy, environmental crimes, the climate crisis, public health, food security, sexual violence and financial crime. The newsroom scrutinises the actions of governments and multinational companies, aiming to hold decision-makers accountable and contribute to positive social impact.

Disclose publishes its written and video investigations free of charge, reflecting its view that information is a public good. To strengthen the reach and impact of its reporting, it works with NGOs, universities, scientists, legal experts and French and international media. The organisation also supports citizens’ right to information by sharing investigative methods through free guides and pursuing administrative, and sometimes legal, proceedings to make public-interest information accessible.
