Discover Dairy is an interactive educational program designed to bring the dairy farm experience into the classroom. This cross-curricular, multi-leveled lesson series meets Pennsylvania state education standards for science, math, reading, and social studies. The program aims to educate students about where milk comes from and the importance of dairy farms in our world.

With lessons that incorporate Common Core and STEM standards, Discover Dairy offers five lesson plans for upper elementary level classrooms and four two-part lessons for middle school. Each lesson includes video motivators, reading guides, and assessment-based worksheets. All materials can be downloaded for free, making it accessible to educators everywhere.

In addition to the lesson series, Discover Dairy offers opportunities such as the Adopt A Cow program and Farm Field Trip Grants. These initiatives provide students with hands-on experiences and further deepen their understanding of the dairy industry. Discover Dairy is made possible through the collaboration of various dairy associations and organizations, including the American Dairy Association Northeast and the Dairy Excellence Foundation of Pennsylvania.
