Discovery PitStop is a Brooklyn childcare and early education provider founded by Christopher and Linique McCoy to serve the neighborhood they call home. Its learning environment prioritizes children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual needs, with care focused on nurturing the whole child in a clean, safe setting. The organization operates at 467 Vanderbilt Avenue and 175 Vanderbilt Avenue, serving families in the surrounding Brooklyn communities.

Programs are available for children from 4 months to 6 years old and include Infant PitStop, Toddler PitStop, Preschool PitStop, Afterschool PitStop, and Summer PitStop. The center also lists a DOE Drop-in option. Program age ranges vary: infants are 4–12 months, toddlers 12 months to 2 years, preschoolers 2–4 years, and afterschool and summer programs are listed for ages 3–5. Discovery PitStop accepts ACS vouchers to help families cover childcare costs.

Alongside care and learning, Discovery PitStop emphasizes support for parents and staff, community outreach, and opportunities for families to gather. The organization also provides parent resources and invites families to inquire about enrollment.
