Zooniverse is the world's largest platform for people-powered research, harnessing the collective intelligence and enthusiasm of millions of volunteers globally. Since its inception in 2007, Zooniverse has transformed the landscape of academic research by allowing everyday individuals to contribute to significant projects across various fields, from astronomy to history and biology. Participants engage with authentic datasets, including images of galaxies and historical records, making them an integral part of the research process without needing specialized expertise.

Through the Zooniverse platform, volunteers help to classify and analyze vast quantities of information, leading to groundbreaking discoveries and published results. The platform emphasizes collaboration, not only among volunteers but also with research teams, facilitating discussions through its Talk boards. Zooniverse also offers a mobile app, providing users the ability to explore and contribute to research anytime and anywhere. By uniting the capabilities of volunteers and scientists, Zooniverse accelerates critical research and broadens our understanding of the universe and humanity.
