Distant Luminosity

Distant Luminosity is an astrophotographer collective based in Heidelberg, Germany, focused on deep-sky astrophotography. The brand brings together an interest in capturing and sharing celestial subjects, presenting its work through an online gallery. Visitors can explore astrophotographs and learn more about the collective through its website, which also features an observatory section and a blog.

These resources provide different ways to engage with the group’s astronomy-related work and updates. The site includes contact information for those wishing to get in touch, alongside links to its social media presence and privacy policy. Distant Luminosity’s central offering is its collection of deep-sky imagery, supported by content about its observatory and activities.

The website credits Jan Beckmann and states that all rights to the presented material are reserved. With its clear focus on astrophotography and a Heidelberg base, Distant Luminosity serves as an online showcase for the collective’s astronomical images and related information
