Dive Academy Fiji

Viani Bay Resort and Dive Academy Fiji is an independent, boat-access-only eco-retreat on Fiji’s Rainbow Reef, combining boutique accommodation, diving, conservation and Fijian hospitality. With a maximum of ten guests, the resort offers sustainably built oceanfront bures, solar power and full-board meals featuring contemporary artisanal Fijian cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Its on-site PADI 5 Star Eco Dive and Freediving Center organizes dives across the Rainbow Reef, including the Great White Wall, which is a short boat ride away, as well as seasonal manta encounters. Small groups of up to four divers per boat allow for a personal experience, and the dive academy offers PADI courses from introductory to professional levels. Freediving instruction, snorkeling and yacht visits are also part of its offerings.

Guests can kayak, hike, visit villages, learn to prepare Fijian dishes, or join coral restoration activities. The resort supports reef conservation through coral and giant clam nurseries and a tabu no-fishing area, while scholarships help local Fijians train as dive professionals.
