Dive HQ Christchurch

Dive HQ Christchurch is a scuba diving retailer, training provider, and community hub serving divers in Christchurch and the wider South Island. It supports people at every stage, from trying scuba for the first time to developing advanced skills or pursuing a professional diving career. Its training includes PADI recreational courses, Open Water and Advanced Open Water certification, rescue and speciality courses, technical diving, spearfishing, breath-hold diving, and enriched-air nitrox training. The Academy of Diving offers recognised tertiary qualifications, including a one-year scuba diving instruction diploma with full-time and part-time study options.

The business also sells scuba and spearfishing equipment from leading brands, with expert advice and local support. Additional services include equipment hire, cylinder testing, equipment servicing, an in-store service technician, and nitrox fills. Dive HQ Christchurch organises local and international trips, including opportunities around New Zealand dive destinations, and provides course schedules and trip information online. Through Club HQ, members can access in-store benefits, priority trip bookings, information evenings, and a connection with the local diving community.
