About The EDU Ledger
Diverse: Issues In Higher Education is the leading source of critical news, information, and insightful commentary on diversity in American higher education. With over 38 years of experience, Diverse is the only bi-weekly newsmagazine that focuses on access, diversity, inclusion, and opportunity for all in higher education. Our mission has remained true since our inception: to provide honest, thorough, and balanced information.
We aim to be change agents and generate public policies that address existing inequities. By doing so, we contribute to the educational, cultural, social, and economic structures necessary for individuals to reach their full potential and make a positive impact on their communities and the nation. Beyond our print publication, our companion website allows advertisers to extend their messages online and engage with our diverse audience.
We also offer signature events, such as the John Hope Franklin Awards and the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Awards, where sponsors can connect with scholars, researchers, administrators, and business leaders from across the country. At Diverse: Issues In Higher Education, we strive to foster inclusivity and address the needs of underrepresented groups, including African-Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, Native American Indians, people with disabilities, seniors, LGBTQIA individuals, and veterans.
Our commitment to comprehensive coverage has earned us the 2002 Folio Award for best education publication in America. Stay informed with our Daily and Weekly Recap e-Newsletters, keeping you up-to-date with late-breaking news and insights.
