DiversifyEEB is an online directory designed to increase visibility for women and people from underrepresented minority groups in ecology and evolutionary biology. Its resource helps symposium organizers, award committees, search committees, and others identify potential candidates beyond those they might recall from memory. Visitors can explore entries to find ecologists and evolutionary biologists for hiring, seminars, colloquia, awards, and related opportunities.

Individuals can contribute by creating an account and submitting a self-nomination, or by logging in to manage the process. The site explains the value of using candidate lists: research suggests that people are better at recognizing information than recalling it, and that drawing candidates from a list can produce a more diverse pool. DiversifyEEB presents itself as a practical tool for broadening consideration and supporting more inclusive selection in ecology and evolutionary biology.

The resource also features perspectives from University of Michigan faculty, including Professor Regina Baucom and Professor Meghan Duffy, and provides contact, privacy, cookie, and terms information
