About Diversity Lab
Diversity Lab is an incubator for innovative ideas and solutions that aim to boost diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. With collaboration from over 300 top law firms and legal departments across the country, the Lab creates experimental ideas through hackathons and pilots them to test their effectiveness. They leverage data, behavioral science, design thinking, and technology to develop and measure the impact of these initiatives.
One of their successful pilot initiatives, the OnRamp Fellowship, is the largest re-entry platform for experienced women lawyers returning to the workforce after a hiatus. This fellowship offers year-long paid fellowships with prestigious firms and companies across the U. S.
Diversity Lab also partners with Stanford Law School and Bloomberg Law to execute the Women in Law Hackathon, which generates ideas to boost the retention and advancement of women in law firms. Recent projects include the Mansfield Rule, MTN Diversity Dividends, Inclusion Blueprint, and the Move the Needle Fund.
