DIY ODP is a free business directory that helps businesses submit and promote their websites through directory listings. The site invites users to add a website URL and describes its service as a mostly complete, SEO-friendly free business directory listing. Visitors can also browse directory categories and use tools to add or update a site, supporting businesses seeking an online directory presence.

In addition to its listing service, DIY ODP provides a free Similar Websites Search tool. Users can enter a web address to find websites described as similar, alternative, or related, and the page also promotes competitor-domain checking. The directory presents examples of businesses and manufacturers across a wide range of fields, including electrical equipment, furniture, machinery, safety products, packaging, building materials, and consumer goods. These entries include brief company descriptions and product lists, giving visitors a snapshot of the businesses represented.

DIY ODP therefore combines website submission and discovery features in one directory-focused service, connecting users with business websites and helping them explore related sites.
