DJ Ben Boylan is a Brooklyn-based wedding DJ serving couples in New York City and beyond. His approach centers on each couple’s personal music taste rather than wedding trends, creating a tailored soundtrack designed to keep guests dancing. Ben favors minimal, necessary announcements and a natural speaking style, making his services a fit for a range of settings, from converted factories and restaurants to upstate barns and traditional venues.

For weddings, Ben provides music and sound equipment for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions, including microphones for officiants, couples, and toasts. He also offers photo booth packages through a sister company, with options such as prints, a backdrop, and an attendant, as well as customizable uplighting that can shift to colorful dance-floor effects. His booking process begins with a 30-minute Zoom call, followed by an online contract, initial payment, and music worksheet.

Ben welcomes LGBTQ+ couples and enjoys incorporating music from different cultures. In 2022, he launched Non-Traditional Wedding DJs, where he trains and manages other wedding DJs.
