DJ Roux Entertainment

DJ Roux Entertainment is the Rhode Island-based DJ service of Jason Heroux, known as DJ Roux, who has been performing since 1996. Based in Newport, he brings three decades of experience to weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations across New England. Every event is booked through Lime Lite DJs, the company’s event brand.

DJ Roux focuses on creating energetic dance floors through crowd-aware music, thoughtful preparation, and reliable event production. For weddings, he meets with couples to shape a playlist around their preferences and coordinate a timeline with the photographer, videographer, planner, and venue. For corporate events, he follows the run of show and manages sound, announcements, and transitions.

The team provides mobile sound systems for venues ranging from ballrooms and tents to outdoor fields, with capacity for crowds of more than 1,000. Additional services include room uplighting, separate sound setups for ceremonies and cocktail hours, TVs for slideshows and live photo sharing, and a staffed mirror photobooth with props and unlimited 4-by-6-inch prints.
