Djursholms Ridklubb is a long-established riding club founded in 1925 and based at Gärdestorp in Danderyd, Sweden. Described as one of the country’s largest riding clubs, it brings together riders, families and horse enthusiasts through instruction, competition and community activities. Its quality-certified riding school offers opportunities to begin riding, including sessions for young children, as well as lessons, courses and riding camps.
The club’s educational programme covers more than riding: beginners learn how to handle, groom, saddle and bridle horses safely, while members can pursue further learning through stable-hand courses and digital lessons about horses, riding and competition. Members can also take part in show jumping and dressage, with club competitions, external events and team riding opportunities. Alongside equestrian activities, Djursholms Ridklubb supports young people through stable activities, youth leaders and holiday events, and promotes horse welfare, safety and sustainability.
