Die im Jahr 2007 gegründete DKFZ-ZMBH-Allianz ist eine strategische Allianz zwischen dem Forschungsschwerpunkt Zell- und Tumorbiologie des Deutschen Krebsforschungszentrums (DKFZ) und dem Zentrum für Molekulare Biologie der Universität Heidelberg (ZMBH). Die Allianz hat das Ziel, ein international impulsgebendes interdisziplinäres Forschungszentrum mit kommunikativer Wissenschaftskultur an der Schnittstelle zwischen Molekularbiologie, Zellbiologie, Medizin, Tumorbiologie und Biomedizin in Heidelberg zu etablieren.
