Dansk Münsterländer Klub (DMK) is Denmark’s specialist club for Kleiner and Grosser Münsterländer dogs. Founded in 1968, it has nearly 1,000 members and is one of the country’s largest specialist clubs for pointing breeds. The club supports owners, breeders and people interested in these versatile hunting dogs through information, guidance and activities across Denmark.
DMK offers local training and events throughout the year, with 17 regional groups providing opportunities for members to take part in activities. Its programme includes hunting and field trials, retrieving and tracking tests, shows, puppy training and other breed-related events. The club also publishes news, calendars, competition results and information about the breeds’ history, standards and use.
For prospective owners and breeders, DMK provides breeding guidance, breeder and stud-dog registers, advice on puppy inspections, and a puppy list to help people find available litters. Members can also access a club magazine, participate in committees and local groups, and purchase official merchandise through the webshop. DMK promotes responsible dog ownership and helps connect Münsterländer enthusiasts across Denmark.
