UK DNS Privacy Project

The UK DNS Privacy Project is a pioneering initiative dedicated to enhancing online security and protecting user privacy through its free, no-logs public DNS resolver. Committed to safeguarding the rights of UK internet users, the project employs advanced encrypted technologies such as DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) and DNS-over-TLS (DoT) to prevent unauthorized tracking and surveillance. Founded as a company limited by guarantee, the UK DNS Privacy Project operates with a mission-driven focus, prioritizing public benefit over profit. This structure allows for transparency and reinvestment of funds into improving services and developing innovative features.

The organization is actively paving the way for a safer and more transparent internet, aiming to make privacy a fundamental right. Through planned governance enhancements, including the establishment of a board of directors and a member-based model, the UK DNS Privacy Project encourages community involvement and aims to publish annual reports for increased accountability. Join the project in its quest for a privacy-first internet experience for all users in the UK.
