Platforma dobrovoľníckych centier a organizácií

Platforma dobrovoľníckych centier a organizácií | Banská Bystrica is a leading umbrella organization that supports the development of volunteering in Slovakia. Our mission is to be the voice of volunteer centers and organizations, advocating for their needs and interests, and translating them into legislative and societal practices. We are guided by values such as professionalism, ethics, expertise, responsibility, and positive direction towards achieving optimal legislative, financial, and institutional conditions that foster continuous volunteering growth in Slovakia.

We offer various products and services to support volunteering. Our activities include calculating the economic value of volunteering, promoting the European Solidarity Corps, providing support for unemployed volunteers, and awarding the Quality Mark to recognize excellence in volunteering. We also offer training programs for volunteer management, service learning, and advocacy, with accredited courses and online learning options.

Furthermore, we initiate and participate in various projects that engage schools, young people, and seniors in volunteering. We provide useful materials, research, and publications related to volunteering and keep our members updated through our newsletter. Join us in creating a favorable environment for volunteering and making a difference in Slovakia!
