Prešovské dobrovoľnícke centrum is an organization founded in 2008 with the goal of making volunteering a natural part of life in the Prešov region. Through our activities, we aim to raise awareness about volunteering and its beneficial impact. We offer a range of services and opportunities to promote volunteering within the community.

One of our main focuses is education. We organize courses, trainings, and workshops throughout the year to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed for volunteering. We also offer consultations and informational meetings to support volunteers and organizations.

Additionally, we recognize and appreciate the efforts of volunteers through the "Heart in Hand" award. Through individual nominations, we share volunteer stories and highlight the communities and organizations where volunteer work is being carried out.

We actively promote volunteering by collaborating with various organizations in the Prešov region. Together, we create numerous volunteering opportunities, allowing people to experience the rewards of becoming a volunteer. This annual event takes place in June.

Furthermore, we implement projects by utilizing grant opportunities to support our activities and initiatives. We also share inspiring stories about young individuals, volunteers, and representatives of organizations to spread the message of goodwill.

In addition to engaging individuals, we also collaborate with corporate entities to develop corporate volunteering programs.
