Doctor For Kids

Doctor For Kids is a paediatric practice based at Mediclinic Panorama Hospital, led by Dr Pieter J. de Waal, a paediatrician and allergist. The practice provides care for children with general medical concerns and routine healthcare needs, alongside specialist assessment and treatment for asthma and allergies. Dr de Waal completed his paediatric specialization in 2008 and has further qualifications in allergy and asthma care, including subspecialist training in Allergology.

Services include general paediatric and allergy consultations, skin prick testing for airborne and food allergens, lung function testing, oral food challenges, assessment of suspected penicillin and other drug allergies, and immunotherapy. Areas of interest include childhood asthma, allergic conditions affecting the nose, eyes and skin, food allergies and intolerances, and insect-sting reactions.

Doctor For Kids also shares practical, accessible information to help parents understand common child-health questions and prepare for consultations. Its educational resources are intended to guide families, not replace a medical assessment or diagnosis. The practice aims to support children and families through informed, attentive paediatric care.
