Dörte Helms provides independent advice on horse feeding and husbandry, with a focus on supporting each animal’s health and wellbeing. Her approach considers a horse’s individual needs and looks beyond feed alone to include its overall living conditions. The website describes guidance for owners assessing their horse’s weight, reviewing its diet, or addressing particular feeding concerns; however, it notes that the feed-consultation service is currently not being offered.
Other services include a mobile horse-weighing service, which helps owners establish an accurate weight and better understand their horse’s nutritional requirements. Dörte also gives talks about horses, offering information and practical insights for owners. The site further promotes a “Wohnzimmer-Campus,” an informal, conversational format covering topics such as horse care, feeding, husbandry, breeds, and more.
Customer testimonials highlight her detailed, independent recommendations, willingness to consider different feed options, and attention to each horse’s circumstances. Based in Hude, Germany, Dörte Helms invites horse owners to get in touch with questions or to arrange an appointment.
