About DOFbasen
DOFbasen, by Dansk Ornitologisk Forening, is a comprehensive database for bird observations. Users can input and search for data on 20,743 locations. With 33,860,882 observations, it serves as a crucial foundation for bird and nature conservation projects in Denmark.
DOFbasen ensures data quality through ongoing verification. The focus on documenting early arrivals of migratory birds highlights the impact of climate change on their migration patterns. The platform encourages users to contribute by taking photos or making audio recordings of early sightings.
Stay updated with the latest features and news on the platform. Explore rare bird sightings from previous years and contribute to the collective knowledge of birdwatching. Join the community at DOF Vesterbrogade for a shared passion for avifauna and conservation efforts.
