Dogromat Pet Groomers is a neighborhood pet-care business in Marina del Rey, California, serving local families since 1979. Recognized as the nation’s first self-wash dog grooming shop, Dogromat began with a simple idea: provide dog owners with a clean, comfortable place to bathe their pets using professional equipment and supplies. Its welcoming, community-focused approach remains central to the business.
Dogromat offers self-wash stations with stainless steel tubs, shampoo, conditioner, towels, aprons, and professional dryers; walk-ins are welcome. For owners who prefer expert care, experienced groomers provide full-service baths and haircuts, including specialty styles. The business also offers supervised doggy daycare, with opportunities for play, exercise, and socialization, and customers may add a bath or grooming service during a daycare visit. Pro teeth cleaning is available on the first Sunday of each month as a non-anesthetic service.
Located at 4148 Lincoln Boulevard, Dogromat is open seven days a week. The team emphasizes patient, attentive care and treats pets as part of the family.
