Dogs Are Deserving Rescue is a dedicated organization focused on rescuing and rehoming pit bulls in the Chicagoland area. With a mission to change misconceptions about this misunderstood breed, the rescue promotes the welfare of dogs by ensuring each pet receives thorough veterinary care, including spaying/neutering and microchipping.

As a foster-based program, Dogs Are Deserving Rescue actively seeks loving foster homes to enhance their capacity for rescue. They offer a range of community engagement opportunities, including volunteering, fostering, and donations, inviting animal lovers to participate in their compassionate efforts.

In addition to their rescue work, the organization advocates for the banning of breed-specific legislation, striving to educate the public on the value of all dogs. With an experienced team comprising founders and board members, Dogs Are Deserving Rescue is committed to providing personalized care for each dog and finding them forever homes, ultimately enriching the lives of both the pets and their adoptive families.
