Dog Talent Association (DTA) is a UK-based dog training and awards organisation working with dog owners worldwide. Founded by Olga Jones, DTA helps people discover and develop each dog’s individual abilities through tailored trick training. Its approach welcomes dogs of any age, breed or disability, with an emphasis on building confidence, strengthening the bond between dog and handler, and celebrating each team’s progress.
DTA offers online courses, recorded masterclasses and training resources covering foundation and advanced tricks, puppy development, motivation, distance work, performance skills, and life with deaf or blind dogs. Owners can follow one of four Talent Tracks—Athlete, Helper, Thinker or Performer—and choose from more than 530 tricks to shape a training journey around their goals. The association also provides progressive Trick Dog Titles, certification and themed challenge titles, alongside the International Trick Dog Competition, which features judged challenges and feedback. Its website includes submission guidance, competition information, blog articles, and a shop with training products, gift cards, apparel and gifts.
