Dog Training Dick Staal is a family business run by Dick and his son Sander, specializing in training working dogs and helping owners develop their dogs’ skills. Drawing on more than 40 years of experience and over 300 trained working dogs, the business offers a positive, animal-friendly training system designed for dogs of any age. Its methods help dogs learn through their own behavior and are used with police and customs agencies, as well as puppy owners, household dog owners and people training for sport.
Training topics include tracking, detection work, obedience, bite work, retrieving, puppy development, socialization and unwanted behavior. Customers can access online courses and a membership-based training school, free instructional videos, books and e-books, seminars, and one-to-one training. The website also features a webshop selling products used in the company’s training, alongside a blog and articles offering practical guidance. Through step-by-step instruction and repeatable video lessons, Dog Training Dick Staal shares its experience with handlers and trainers seeking to improve their skills and build a more effective training approach.
