Brett Endes

The Dog Savant is the Los Angeles dog-training practice of Brett Endes, a professional trainer and canine behavior consultant with more than 30 years of experience and over 20,000 dogs trained. Serving Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks, and the San Fernando Valley, Brett specializes in aggression and reactivity, including challenging cases other trainers may decline. His services also address separation anxiety, resource guarding, fear, leash pulling, puppy foundations, and everyday obedience.

Training is primarily one-to-one in clients’ homes, with live Zoom and telephone sessions available to clients elsewhere. Programs include an in-home workshop for $495 or an online workshop for $295; remote packages are also offered. Clients receive lifetime support and free lifetime group classes at a Sherman Oaks park. Brett holds a bachelor’s degree in comparative psychology and is an IACP Professional Member. His work has been featured on NBC, National Geographic, and Hallmark Channel, and he hosts The Dog Savant Podcast. The practice emphasizes balanced, real-world training and coaching owners to build structure, communication, and trust with their dogs.
