Karate Dojo Zanshin Prenzlau is a karate club based in Prenzlau, Germany, offering training in Shotokan karate. The club follows the tradition of the Japan Karate Association (JKA), which it describes as Japan’s oldest and largest karate association and the first to be recognised by the Japanese Ministry of Education. Its website introduces a varied training programme and an active club community, with information for visitors interested in learning more or getting in touch.
Alongside regular training, Dojo Zanshin participates in karate events and competitions and shares updates about its activities. Recent news highlights include the Tonbo Cup, the North German Championships and an annual training camp in Brüssow, where members gather during the summer holiday period. The club also publishes information about events, training and its wider community through news posts, a gallery and a blog. Led by chairman Uwe Lucka, Dojo Zanshin connects local karate practice with the JKA tradition and offers a place for people interested in training and taking part in club life.
