About Dokustelle Austria
Dokustelle is a documentation and advisory center for individuals facing Islamophobia and anti-Muslim racism. Founded on December 10, 2014, on International Human Rights Day, Dokustelle aims to document and address rising incidents of Islamophobic attacks in Austria. Offering initial discussions and support in the aftermath of racist and discriminatory incidents, Dokustelle provides intervention, guidance, and empowerment to those affected.
With a focus on anti-racism work, workshops, and training sessions have been conducted for over eight years for various organizations and communities, highlighting the nuances of anti-Muslim racism. Conducted in multiple languages, Dokustelle offers consultations in Albanian, Arabic, English, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, and more. By promoting awareness and critical reflection, Dokustelle endeavors to combat antimuslimischer Rassismus as a societal issue, impacting political, social, and cultural spheres in Austria.
