Dominant Strands

Dominant Strands Bowstrings is a veteran-owned business specializing in custom bowstrings for archery. The company operates as a full-time bowstring builder and brings more than ten years of string-building experience, alongside a combined 50-plus years of archery technician experience. Its product range includes custom compound and recurve bowstrings, as well as gear and decals.

The brand emphasizes craftsmanship, testing, and customer service. After years of development, iteration, and field testing, Dominant Strands has developed techniques intended to reduce peep rotation and prevent serving separation. It uses premium-quality materials from American manufacturers. The company also shares customer and staff photos that feature archers using its strings in the field and on the range.

Dominant Strands invites customers to order custom strings and provides a contact option for inquiries. Active-duty service members, veterans, police officers, firefighters, and other first responders receive a 10% discount on bowstrings. Customers can also subscribe to the newsletter for special offers, giveaways, and company news.
