Domstädter Hof

Domstädter Hof is an Icelandic horse farm in Bardowick, set amid the extensive riding country of the Lüneburg Heath. The village, known for its historic cathedral and vegetable-growing heritage, is about five kilometres from Lüneburg and 30 kilometres from Hamburg. The farm began working with Icelandic horses in 1995 and describes its approach as a home where both horse and rider can feel at ease.

Its services include Icelandic horse breeding and sales, horse boarding and care, and riding instruction on school horses. Riders can also book individual lessons, guided rides and riding courses. The farm lists two breeding stallions, Kimlan von Skeifa and Hilmir von Vinkona, and offers horses for sale. With its focus on a distinctive horse breed and a range of options for riders, Domstädter Hof brings together horse keeping, training and riding in a rural setting. The business welcomes visitors to learn more about its horses, services, upcoming dates and contact information through its website.
