Dom Trzeźwości

Stowarzyszenie Dom Trzeźwości is a nonprofit association in Poznań, Poland, providing a welcoming place for people affected by addiction and their families. Its mission is to support recovery, sobriety and social connection through peer-led meetings and support groups. At its centre on Aleje Marcinkowskiego, the association hosts regular meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Debtors Anonymous and Sexaholics Anonymous, as well as a group for Adult Children of Alcoholics. Participation is free, and the organisation encourages newcomers to attend without preparation.

Beyond meetings, Dom Trzeźwości offers space for family support, community events and an art gallery featuring exhibitions and openings, including work by people experiencing difficult circumstances. It also organises activities that foster connection among people in recovery. The association aims to develop its centre further by introducing regular individual and group therapy led by professionals, and by expanding support for young people and their families. Donations and Poland’s 1.5% tax allocation help maintain meeting rooms and advance these plans.
