DD Foundation is a private, non-profit social enterprise based in Estonia, established in 2002. We finance our program work through various business activities, including real estate management and strategy consultancy services. Our mission is to develop institutions that enable humanity to flourish.

We achieve this through DD StratLab consultancy services for mission-driven organizations and institutional development work with our Center for Democracy. At DD Foundation, we follow guiding principles that include long-term thinking, caring deeply about our work, maintaining independence, and adding value through evidence-based strategic thinking and leadership skills. We also emphasize learning from the world and building strong teams and communities.

Our history dates back to 2002 when we were founded by prominent individuals with a vision for supporting the development of Estonian society. We have since evolved and expanded our focus to include the development of young people with great potential for positive impact. Our headquarters are located in a historic building beside the Town Hall in Tartu.
