DonkeyLand

DonkeyLand is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to helping donkeys and wild burros in need. Its work includes rescuing sick, injured, orphaned, distressed, or abandoned animals, then providing rehabilitation, release when appropriate, or a permanent home. Donations support animal care and the operation of the organization’s facility, and the site notes that contributions are tax-deductible. DonkeyLand is also developing a rescue center, sanctuary, and wildlife preserve.

The organization invites supporters to make one-time gifts or become monthly donors, and offers a DonkeyLand Angel program for people who want to provide ongoing support. Visitors can learn about the organization’s history, explore awareness and education campaigns, report an animal in distress, and find answers to frequently asked questions. DonkeyLand also operates a gift store, encouraging people to shop for a cause, and provides a newsletter for updates and offers. With an all-volunteer board and officers, DonkeyLand channels contributions toward the animals and facility operations.
